A practice where love for others leads the way.
The Greek word Philoxenia means hospitality, or offering love to strangers. And we can hope to infuse that intent into the care we provide. Here, we offer relational, evidence-based counseling that integrates warmth, empathy, and radical compassion. Because connection, we believe, is what makes room for healing.
The values that guide us in every session —
-
We approach every client interaction with empathy and understanding. In or out of session, we prioritize listening deeply before offering guidance and allow space for clients to express feelings without judgment.
-
We treat all clients with inherent worth, regardless of background, identity, or circumstance. We honor client autonomy and choices in their therapeutic journey while maintaining professionalism while showing warmth and attentiveness.
-
Together, we aim to build genuine, trusting relationships as the foundation for therapy. We engage each of our clients in collaborative goal-setting and decision-making to foster connection through consistent, clear, and compassionate communication.
-
We’re committed to creating not just a welcoming space, but a safe one that both in-person and virtual clients can trust. We also ensure client confidentiality at all times, following HIPAA and ethical guidelines. Plus, we do our best to maintain predictable routines and boundaries to support a sense of security.
-
We pride ourselves in using evidence-based interventions tailored to each of our client’s needs. Our therapist stays current with clinical research and integrates best practices accepted by the wider clinical industry. We also balance clinical rigor with warmth, empathy, and personalized care so you don’t feel like just a patient, but a respected client.
-
We include and offer care to every client, actively countering bias and exclusion. At Philoxenia, we celebrate diversity and honor cultural, racial, and individual differences while approaching each client as a valued guest in our therapeutic space.
about our therapist
Lindsay Infranco is a licensed therapist who specializes in attachment-centered, trauma-informed therapy for individuals and couples. Her background includes working with clients navigating spiritual abuse, religious trauma, faith transitions, anxiety, depression, and relationship wounds. With a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Phoenix Seminary and training in EMDR and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), her goal is to create a space where spirituality, identity, and mental health can coexist without pressure or judgment. Lindsay’s trusted approach integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and somatic awareness — with faith integration when desired. She believes healing begins in a safe connection and hopes through therapy, you will rediscover your sense of belonging — within yourself, with others, and in the world.
